How do I unlock unlimited items?
Open the app → Settings → Unlock Pro. Warranty Pad Pro is a one-time purchase ($4.99 USD or local equivalent) that unlocks unlimited tracked items, all reminder presets, and PDF / photo attachments. There is no subscription.
I bought Pro but it's not active on a new device.
Sign into the same Apple ID you bought Pro with, then open the app → Settings → Restore Purchase. Your lifetime entitlement is tied to your Apple ID, so it should restore.
OCR misread my receipt — what can I do?
Tap the field after scanning and edit it manually. The form previews the parsed values before saving so you can fix store, date, total, currency, return window or warranty length. Future versions will include a "re-scan" button. If a specific store consistently parses wrong, email us with a sample receipt.
Does it work without iCloud?
Yes. Warranty Pad runs locally on your iPhone. iCloud Sync is optional and on by default — you can turn it off in Settings → iCloud Sync. Without iCloud, your items still save locally; they just don't mirror to your other devices.
Will I lose data if I switch phones?
If iCloud Sync is on (default), your items appear on the new device after you sign in to the same Apple ID and install Warranty Pad. If iCloud Sync is off, the local data exists only on the old device — turn iCloud Sync on before switching.
I'm not getting reminders.
Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → Warranty Pad and ensure Allow Notifications is on. Reminders are scheduled locally — if you turned them off during onboarding, you'll need to re-enable them in iOS Settings.
Can I import an e-mail invoice PDF?
Yes. From the scanner overlay or the manual fallback, choose Import → From Files (PDF) and select the PDF. Warranty Pad reads the embedded text directly when available (most digital receipts) and falls back to OCR for scanned PDFs.
Is my data private?
Yes. Warranty Pad has no login, no email signup, no tracking and no analytics. Receipt OCR runs on-device. iCloud Sync writes to your own private CloudKit database under your Apple ID. Read the Privacy Policy.
Purchases and refunds
All purchases are handled by Apple through your Apple ID. Refund requests must be submitted through reportaproblem.apple.com. Warranty Pad cannot issue refunds directly.
