Rarity tiers & pull rates

Every rarity in PackRip: Mythos with the launch-tuning odds. The same numbers are surfaced one tap from any in-app purchase, in compliance with Apple App Store Review Guideline 3.1.1.

The seven tiers, plus a God Pack

Holo EX~16.7%EX foilReserved for major deities and apex creatures (~1 in 6 packs).
Shining~2%ShiningHigh-contrast metallic finish.
Gold Star~2.8%Gold StarTop tier of the standard holo set, evokes the original Gold Star pull culture.
Crystal~1%CrystalTranslucent rainbow shimmer. The chase tier for casual packs.
Secret~5%Secret holoSet-specific secret variants tied to the pantheon's flagship deity.
God Pack~1 in 500All slots upgradedNot purchased — randomly rolled. The whole slot board upgrades to top-tier reveals.
The numbers are server-tunable. What you see above reflects the launch tuning. The in-app sheet (Shop → "View Pull Rates & Odds") always shows the live values; this page is a static snapshot. If they diverge, the in-app sheet is authoritative.

Hunt pack injection rates

Hunt packs let you target a specific missing card. The hunt-rate is the chance that a Hunt-pack open contains the card you targeted, by rarity:

Premium pack reweighting

Premium packs guarantee one upper-tier slot. There's a 5% chance that guaranteed slot upgrades from Holo to Secret. The remaining slots roll the standard distribution above.

Why disclosure matters

Apple's App Store Review Guideline 3.1.1 requires loot-box-style mechanisms to disclose odds before any purchase. PackRip's PullRatesSheet renders this table at runtime and is reachable from every pack purchase screen. Numbers stay in sync with the live config because the sheet reads from the same active* globals that the pack generator uses — there's no risk of marketing copy diverging from gameplay reality.

What rarity does not do here

Rarity is exactly what it was when packs came in cardboard: a reason to keep ripping.
