1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Hexora ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. The service

Hexora generates I Ching hexagrams in response to questions you submit, and produces an AI-generated interpretation for entertainment and personal reflection. Interpretations are produced by Cloudflare Workers AI (a large language model service) and are not authored by a human practitioner. Hexora does not use the Wilhelm-Baynes 1950 translation; all hexagram base text is paraphrased from James Legge's 1882 public-domain translation.

3. Entertainment only — not professional advice

Hexora is for entertainment and personal reflection only. It does not provide and is not a substitute for:

• Medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice
• Legal advice
• Financial, investment, or tax advice
• Relationship or career counselling

Do not make important life decisions based on app interpretations. If you are in distress or facing a serious decision, consult a qualified professional.

4. Eligibility

Hexora is rated 4+ and intended for general audiences. You should not rely on the app's interpretations for any medical, legal, financial, or other consequential decisions.

5. Subscriptions and purchases

Hexora offers a free tier with one reading per day. Hexora Pro is an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks unlimited readings, full AI interpretations, and the daily oracle:

• Pricing: $2.99 per week, $9.99 per month, or $49.99 per year (or local equivalent in 175 territories).
• No free trial: Hexora Pro is offered without a free trial. The free tier (one reading per day) is available indefinitely at no cost.
• Auto-renewal: Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
• Payment: handled exclusively by Apple. We do not see your payment method or billing address.

Use of Hexora is also subject to Apple's Standard EULA.

6. Refunds

Refunds are issued by Apple at their discretion through reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit content that is illegal, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or violates third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or extract the app's source or assets beyond what is permitted by Apple's terms
• Use the app to abuse, deceive, or harm any person
• Send automated requests at a rate that disrupts the service

8. Intellectual property

The app, its source code, design, illustrations, and original text are © 2026 Arinc Elhan, all rights reserved. The underlying I Ching hexagram texts are derived from James Legge's 1882 translation, which is in the public domain. Modern paraphrases shipped with the app are © 2026 Hexora and licensed for personal in-app use only.

9. AI-generated content

Interpretations are produced by language models and may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any interpretation for any purpose.

10. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arinc Elhan and Hexora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill — even if advised of the possibility.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the app at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your iPhone.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date and a notice in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Istanbul, Türkiye.
