Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel my Hexora Pro subscription?

Open iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, tap Hexora, and choose Cancel Subscription. Your Pro access remains active until the end of the current billing period.

How do I restore a previous subscription?

If you reinstalled Hexora or switched devices, open the paywall in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Your active Pro subscription tied to your Apple ID will be restored.

Why isn't my Pro subscription active?

First check that you are signed into the same Apple ID you used to purchase. Then tap Restore Purchases on the paywall. If the issue persists, email us with your transaction ID (visible in your Apple ID receipts).

How are interpretations generated?

The hexagram itself is generated locally on your iPhone using the classic three-coin method. The interpretation is produced by Cloudflare Workers AI (Llama 3.1 8B), grounded in James Legge's 1882 public-domain translation of the I Ching. Hexora does not use the copyrighted Wilhelm-Baynes translation.

Is there a free trial?

Hexora does not currently offer a free trial. The free tier (one reading per day) is available indefinitely at no cost. Hexora Pro is $2.99/week, $9.99/month, or $49.99/year.

Is my data private?

Yes. Hexora has no login, no tracking, and no analytics. Your readings are stored only on your iPhone. We use only an anonymous device-bound identifier so your subscription works without any personal information. Read the Privacy Policy.

Purchases and refunds

All purchases are handled by Apple through your Apple ID. Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings under your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. Refund requests must be submitted through reportaproblem.apple.com. Hexora cannot issue refunds directly.
